Last night, I was somehow "coerced" into making a pit stop for one drink at one of the city's most notorious wateringholes.
This place always has a line up, always has the smell of stale beer in the decades old carpet and always has a live band and DJ trading off between classics and Top 40, with some random awesome tracks tossed in. You're always loathe to go here, but when you leave, you can't believe how much fun you just had.
One libation turned into a few, which turned into a mini dance party. For two of us anyway, near the bar and not anywhere near the dance floor.
Here's a small cross section of the last few songs—some of my very faves, too!—that played (and that him and I sang out loud to, with no shame):
We were about to call it a night, when the strains of the song below came on. So, naturally, we stayed for one more epic sing-a-long:
And that was only Thursday night.
